Drive In FAQ’s

Can we watch something other than a movie?

Yes! Anything you can watch on your TV at home, you can project onto our screen. Hook up a laptop to show a presentation, stream live sporting events, host a giant video gaming party and so much more!

Does it have to be dark to see the screen?

Yes, we recommend sunset as a start time at the very earliest. Generally, 15 minutes after sunset provides your guests with optimal viewing of our screen

Do we need licensing for a movie?

Generally, showing a movie outdoors in a location other than your backyard will require a license. The Federal Copyright Act (Title 17, United States code, Public Law 94-553, 90 Stat. 2541) governs how copyrighted materials, such as movies, may be utilized publicly. Neither the rental nor the purchase or lending of a videocassette or DVD carries with it the right to exhibit such a movie publicly outside the home, unless the site where the video is used is properly licensed for copyright compliant exhibition.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Don’t worry if you have to cancel last minute for your drive in. Our free-rescheduling assurance policy will take care of you. If the weather isn’t cooperating, we will simply issue you a credit that is transferrable and never expires. You’ll never incur any penalties or fees cancellation.

How much power do I need?

Power requirements vary depending on the package you choose. Typically, we require at least 2 standard 20 amp circuits for our Drive Ins. If you don’t have access to power, we have generators we can provide.
