- Does a virtual reality VR rental require a deposit?
Yes, we require a 30% deposit to reserve our equipment. Don’t worry, with our “free rescheduling assurance policy", you are able to cancel at any time due to inclement weather or emergency without losing any money. We will simply issue you a credit that never expires! We believe in protecting our customers and giving them peace of mind, so you’ll never incur any charges or hidden fees with freedom fun.
- How far in advance should I reserve my VR rental?
This is always tough to answer. We always recommend booking as soon as you know the date of your party. If you’re unsure of the time, that’s okay. As long as you pay the deposit, you will have the majority of that day reserved and we can always go back and work out the smaller details later. Our events are in high demand and we can’t “hold” our equipment for anyone.
- How long do the VR headsets last on a single charge?
The Oculus Quest 2 will last approximately 2 hours on a single charge of continuous gameplay. However, you can plug the headset into the charger and play while it's charging! The Playstation VR kit is always plugged into power so you don't have to worry about the battery dying.
- What kind of games can we play?
Oculus Quest 2 - We are constantly updating our library with new games and experiences. Some of the most popular experiences we have are Beat Saber, Vader Immortal, The Climb, Nature Treks VR, Ocean Rift and more. Playstation VR - This includes VR Worlds, Ocean Descent and more. The Playroom VR is our most popular game because it has dozens of minigames inside of just this one game and the kids love it! There are some games where one person uses the controller and the other person is wearing the headset for some multiplayer fun!
- Can this be setup outside?
This can be setup outside if it is under a covered area out of direct sunlight. We can also provide a blackout canopy for a custom VR station outside at your event. Ideal conditions would an indoor setup. If you are wanting to do it outside late at night in the dark when the sun isn't out, just be aware that the body tracking for the Quest 2's may not work well.
